A little late but…
Philip Davies finally received a substantial festschrift and gave an excellent lecture on history and memory and the kinds of interdisciplinary reading (from White through Jameson to Žižek, and plenty of other besides) a historian of the ancient (or indeed modern) world needs.

The FS, Far From Minimal: Celebrating the Work and Influence of Philip R. Davies, is edited by Duncan Burns and John Rogerson.
